George Soros interviewed by Neil Cavuto

Monday, November 1, 2010

Wow it is amazing to see the transformation of Cat Stephens to
Yusef Islam. He has publicly stated that he would cut the head off
of Saloman Rushdi if he was ordered to for mocking the prophet.
I suppose that Yusef would compare it to capital punishment here
in the states when we feel that a cold blooded murderer who has no
remorse should get the death sentence. You can compare it to any
number of things I suppose that may make you feel that our culture
and Yusef's culture are morally equivalent.
Again I don't want to express that Yusef is a terrorist that wants to
cold blood kill Christians.

You know I have no doubt after listening to him that he is probably a
wonderful man, and doesn't think in terms of violence.

However when John Stewart and Stephen Colbert want to restore
sanity, and make a statement that the right wing Christians views are
too extreme, then you have to wonder when they want a representative
of this brand of Islam to express restoring sanity.

These boys like to be the fun sane hip ones, but look deeper before
you just get on the bandwagon of being cool with Stewart and Colbert.
They mock things that maybe they just don't understand.
Just as maybe we don't totally understand Yusef's world.

Bill Maher: "We have Democrats for one reason – to drag the ignorant hillbilly-half of this country into the next century"

Ignorant hillbillies in fly-over land should go to the polls next Tuesday and wrestle this country back from horse's butts like Maher and his liberal Democratic buddies.

Via NewsBusters:
“I mean, that’s so disappointing,” Maher said. “You know – that’s the problem with this country. They say that there’s not enough bipartisanship. There’s too much. If there’s two parties and they’re both against weed, what do we have? I mean what’s the point of having Democrats? We have Democrats for one reason – to drag the ignorant hillbilly-half of this country into the next century, which in their case is the 19th.”

Obama's Growing Anger

I have been wondering about why Obama has been getting so pissed lately.

When I saw his speech in Ohio where he obsessed on John Boehner I wondered
what has gotten into this man? I expected to hear a lot more on this than I have but
if you want to read some of the pundits thoughts on this here you go.

He Kept his Promise that Combat Troops Are out of Iraq,
Or did he?

Hey, everybody! I just wanted to send a quick update and give y'all the REAL story on what's going on over here with the troop withdrawal.

The picture is of my crew and I on a break during a mission. The guy to the far left is my gunner (Burks) and the guy in the middle is my driver (Mizell). They go with me on every mission and are great guys.

The reason I'm sending this out is because I have had a few people ask if I left Iraq early because all of the combat troops are out of Iraq and I wanted to let everyone know the real deal. It's kind of ridiculous how the news is saying that the last of the "combat" troops are out of Iraq because of Pres Obama. He says that it was his campaign promise.

Take our Brigade for example. We were originally called a HBCT (Heavy Brigade Combat Team). Well, since Obama said he would pull all of the "combat" troops out by Aug, all they did before we left was change our name from a HBCT to a AAB (Advise and Assist Brigade). We have the same personnel/equipment layout as before and are doing the same missions. The ONLY difference is that they changed our name from a HBCT to an AAB and that's how he is getting away with saying that he has pulled all of the "combat" troops out.

It is really ridiculous what he's doing and he has ticked a lot of people off. And it's funny how the media is buying all of it, too. So no the last combat troops are not out of Iraq. We are still here. There are other Brigades just like ours that are doing the same missions that are still over here. Sorry for going on about it but we are just sitting over here watching it and are like "You've got to be kidding me!" So anyway now you know the REAL story, so that's why I'm not coming back early. You have to watch those liberals, they're sneaky! Anyways I hope everyone is doing well and I'll see you soon!

The Great Global Warming Blunder.
Every scientific theory involves assumptions. Global warming theory starts with the assumption that the Earth naturally maintains a constant average temperature, which is the result of a balance between (1) the amount of sunlight the Earth absorbs, and (2) the amount of emitted infrared (“IR”) radiation that the Earth continuously emits to outer space. In other words, energy in equals energy out. Averaged over the whole planet for 1 year, those energy flows in and out of the climate system are estimated to be around 235 or 240 watts per square meter.

Dr. Manny: Dear Senator Reid, I’m Not Stupid!

Today, U.S. Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid (D-NV) — the person who holds one of the most powerful positions in our government — a protector of the constitution, of free speech and of tolerance — called me stupid.

Perhaps he was indicating that I’m mentally challenged or maybe that I’m just uneducated — I’m not sure. But what I do know is that his comments were a profound insult to me and every other American of Hispanic descent.

During a campaign event in Nevada Tuesday, Reid made an appeal to Latino supporters whose votes he needs for re-election in November, by making this condescending remark:

“I don’t know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, OK,” he said. “Do I need to say more?”

Yes, Sen. Reid, in fact you do need to say more.

Jobs No American Can Do

Jobs No American Can Do
By Scott OTT

I love this piece here

This piece I feel brilliantly
talks about how the left wants
to eliminate risk in our lives for the security of big brother unions and big brother social welfare, to protect us from the wild dangerous jungle of a free market.

It starts out by talking about a company called Ben Venue
in Bedford, Ohio that has a requirement that an employee
must have a 9th grade equivalence in math.

They are having a hard time filling these positions!

Read this !
Our work lives use to pulsate with that sensation. Will the crop survive? Will the twister take the barn? Will I kill the game, and thus eat another day? Will my store generate enough revenue this hour to cover expenses? Will this craft, that I see as a physical manifestation of the passion of my soul, so bewitch another that he will part with the bread of his honest toil in order to take possession of my art?

I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you did receive this but in case you didn't...
I checked it out with "Truth or Fiction" and it's TRUE.
RFR

The doctor had his TV on in his office when the news of the military base shootings at Ft. Hood, TX came on. The husband of one of his employees was stationed there.
He called her into his office and as he told her what had happened, she got a text message from her husband saying, "I am okay." Her cell phone rang right after she read the message. It was an ER nurse, ”I’m the one who just sent you a text, not your husband. I thought it would be comforting but I was mistaken in doing so. I am sorry to tell you this, but your husband has been shot 4 times and he is in surgery."

The soldier's wife left Southern Clinic in Dothan, AL and drove all night to Ft. Hood. When she arrived, she found out her husband was out of surgery and would be OK.

She rushed to his room and found that he already had visitors there to comfort him.
He was just waking up and found his wife and the visitors by his side. The nurse took this picture.
What? No news crews and cameras? This is how people
with class respond and pay respect to those in uniform.

I sent my cousin in Fayetteville, N.C. (Retired from Special Forces) that picture of Geo. W. visiting the wounded at Ft. Hood. I got this reply:

What is even better is the fact George W. Bush heard about
Fort Hood, got in his car without any escort, apparently they
did not have time to react, and drove to Fort Hood. He was
stopped at the gate and the guard could not believe who he
had just stopped. Bush only asks for directions to the hospital
then drove on. The gate guard called that "The President is
on Fort Hood and driving to the hospital."

The base went bananas looking for Obama. When they found
it was Bush, they immediately offered escort. Bush simply told
them to shut up and let him visit the wounded and the dependents
of the dead.

He stayed at Fort Hood for over six hours, and was finally asked
to leave by a message from the White House.

Obama flew in days later and held a "photo" session in a gym,
and
did not even go to the hospital.

All this I picked up from two soldiers here who happened to be
at Fort Hood when it happened.

This Bush/Obama/Ft. Hood story is something that should be
sent to every voter in the US. Those who wanted "change"
certainly got it.

Someone, PLEASE, show me anything that
will tell us that Obama has ANY respect for
the country he leads! I'm looking for just a
little sign of respect!

Obama's Launch into Green Energy......
If we can land a man on the moon......

...That's why Tuesday's speech was received with such consternation. It was so untethered from reality. The gulf is gushing, and the president is talking mystery roads to unknown destinations. That passes for vision, and vision is Obama's thing. It sure beats cleaning up beaches.

Farm Wars

Fighting to Save the Family Farm!
What the MSM
won’t tell you about about
the rancher killed in Arizona by a cartel

assassin
Source: PPJG

Letter to the Editor

As you know, one of our local ranchers, Bob Krentz, an
R-CALF member, was murdered in Douglas, AZ, two weeks ago. His funeral is tomorrow.
I received three messages from different officers within the Rangers and law
enforcement. Yesterday afternoon I talked to another rancher near us who is a
friend of ours and whose great grandfather started their ranch here in 1880.
These are good people. He told me what really happened out at the Krentz ranch
and what you won’t read in the papers. The Border Patrol is afraid of starting
a small war between civilians here and the drug cartels in Mexico .

Bob Krentz was checking his water like he does every evening
and came upon an illegal lying on the ground telling him he was sick. Bob
called the Border Patrol and asked for a medical helicopter evac. As he turned
to go back to his ATV he was shot in the side. The round came from down and
angled up so they know the shooter was on the ground. Bob’s firearm was in the
ATV so he had no chance. Wounded he called the Cochise County Sheriff and asked
for help. Bleeding in the lungs he called his brother but the line was bad so
he called his wife but again the line was bad.

Several ranchers heard the radio call and drove to his
location. Bob was dead by this time. The ranchers tracked the shooter 8 miles
back towards Mexico and cornered him in a brushy draw. This was all at night.
The Sheriff and Border Patrol arrived and told them not to go down and engage
the murderer. They went around to the back side and if you can believe it the
assassin managed to get by a BP helicopter and a Sheriffs posse and back to
Mexico ; So much for professional help when you need it.

One week before the murder Bob and his brother Phil (who I
shoot with) hauled a huge quantity of drugs off the ranch that they found in
trucks. One week before that a rancher near Naco did the same thing. Two
nights’ later gangs broke into his ranch house and beat him and his wife and
told them that if they touched any drugs they found they would come back and
kill them. The ranchers here deal with cut fences and haul drug deliveries off
their ranches all the time. What ranchers think is that the drug cartels beat
the one rancher and shot Bob because they wanted to send a message. Bob always
gave food and water to illegals and so they think they sent the assassin to
pose as an illegal who was hungry and thirsty knowing it would catch Bob off
guard.
What is going on down here is NOT being reported. You need
to tell people how bad it is along the border. Texas is worse. Near El Paso it
is nearly in a state of war. 5000 people were killed in Ciudad Juarez last year
and it is over 2000 so far this year. Gun sales down here are through the roof
and I get emails from people wanting firearms training.

Our president does not want to mention illegal immigration,
which is a sour place to him personally. These invaders of the USA do not
seem to catch his radar.

Something has to be done but I don’t hold out much hope.
These gangs have groups in almost every city in the US . This is serious
business. The Barrio Azteca and their sub gangs are like Mexican Corporations
and organized extremely well. If this doesn’t get dealt with down here you guys
will deal with it on your streets further north.

How not to fight a war

Seems that was why we won in Iraq. We gained the locals

What are the main talking points about Global Warming?

If you don’t know how to calculate the data, then do you

really know how to defend or debunk the idea?

So do I want to become an expert on the basics of what the

theory is?

Is it as simple as a few paragraphs?

Or

Do I just want to refer to different experts and be able to

quote their credentials. Say well this expert , from this institute

who is a climatologist….with this degree….thinks such and such.

It is never proof, because even though he may be an expert he

may have a political bone to grind.

But if there is any kind of a consensus …say 20 climatologists then

you obviously have an argument.

Steele Gordon points to an issue through which Republicans can help ensure that the debt remains an Achilles heel for Dems -- public employee compensation

Across the country, public employees earned, on average, $39.66 an hour. The private sector? The average was $27.42. In other words, public employees earn 44 percent more.

As with any winning political issue, anecdotal evidence brings these statistics to life:

[In San Francisco] a third of the city work force makes more than $100,000 each. The retired deputy police chief earned $516,118 in his last year, thanks to saved up vacation days, sick leave, overtime, etc. It is, of course, the last year's compensation that largely determines the size of the pension public employees get.

Tea Party vs Arizona Protests

April 28, 2010

I was troubled by the debate on Meagan Kelly live
with Mike Gallagher and Mark Levine.
This is not Mark Levin ...pretty much a polar opposite.
Nice guy though, and pleasant to listen to
even though we disagree.
Mark Levine wants to compare the protest in Arizona
with the tea party.

I suppose the interesting thing is that even though
I can't be unbiased I can at least play devil's advocate
with myself and see if I can see the other side.
Really couldn't in this case. Tortured is the way you
feel when a pundit is unmovable. You feel that there
is nothing you can do to convince them.

Mark Levine compares throwing bottles and rocks
as a moral equivalent to saying the F word to Barney
Frank. I understand that the progressives would call
them misguided, perhaps mistakenly redneck and lack
of complexity. But to try and paint them as racist
is so far reaching it seem to me that you must be
on a different planet, to think that. It is hard to
believe you don't see that you are discrediting
yourself to try and persuade with such a comparison.

The N word and spitting on a civil rights activist is
troubling but is certainly not the heart and soul of
the tea party. Most of us could weather an F word
and even spitting. It kinda comes with the territory,
when you have a strong political view, and your
your a public figure.
Wrong to spit?
Of course but do we need to
feel tea parties have no validation?
Just like we don't need to paint all immigration protesters
as violent.

Here is the discourse, tell me if you feel the same.
